Celia Froehlig’s entire music career has been spent in publishing; beginning at Hill & Range Songs, Inc. as receptionist/assistant. Shortly thereafter, Hill & Range was sold to Chappell Music where she remained for 13 years as Creative Director. When Chappell Music was sold to Warner Brothers she was asked to join Warner/Chappell Music as Creative Director. A short year later, she was offered the position of Vice President/Screen Gems/EMI. That same year EMI Music Publishing acquired SBK Songs and she again found herself in yet another merger. She was named Vice President/Southern Region of EMI Music Publishing where she remained for nine years, before opening her own company Froehlig/Palmer Music with Robin Palmer. In late 2009, she got a call about a new company in need of someone with publishing experience to head their publishing division. The idea of a new adventure in the business she loved resulted in her accepting her current position of Vice President Publishing of Black River Entertainment. Celia is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day to day operations of the Publishing Division.
Life outside of BRE: Celia loves to travel, loves the water, and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two Yorkies!

Whether it’s behind the pen as the writer of record-breaking hits like the recent Billboard “Song of the Year,” Love Like Crazy (Lee Brice) or the CMA and ACM “Song of the Year,” Three Wooden Crosses, (Randy Travis), at the console as the producer of artists like Lee Brice, Hank Jr., Clay Walker and Michael Montgomery, or behind the desk helming an A&R department, Doug Johnson knows his way around a hit. Days after graduating high school, Keegan left home to serve in the United States Marine Corps. Following four years of active duty military service, Keegan, accompanied by one of his best friends, drove from Buffalo NY to Los Angeles. Immediately after settling in Santa Monica, Keegan began dividing his time between school, the beach, and the L.A. music scene. "My friend wanted to make a record, I wanted to go to school, and we both wanted the experience of living in Southern California. So we packed up everything and made a run to the West Coast."
